Focus areas
What does Sunflower Scotland do? We conduct four key activities to help Ukraine:
- Delivering Ukraine-made aid to villages and towns 0-30 km from the front line. This is where people struggle the most. Since resources are limited, we believe that humanitarian aid to these areas has to be provided before anyone else.
- Providing Ukraine-made aid to recently de-occupied villages, where people’s homes, shops, schools, roads, hospitals etc. have been severely damaged.
- Bringing medical supplies from the UK to hospitals in regional centres close to the front line (Dnipro, Kharkiv)
- Helping to save lives of Ukraine’s defenders, providing frontline medics with medical supplies, means to evacuate of the wounded, etc.
