Sunflower Scotland delivered much-needed washing and cleaning supplies to fostering families in the Kharkiv region.
Parents decided to record a “thank you” video for Sunflower. They explained what aid they had received from Sunflower, and why it was useful to them.
Despite the fear and the hardship of the war, these Ukrainian parents care for 177 children. Each family has from 3 to 10 children, most of them adopted. It’s so hard to care for children in normal time. Imagine what they have been going through during the war!
See for yourself, these Ukrainian parents do a fantastic job: adopted children are happy, and well looked after. They show how they help their parents with daily chores, such as cleaning kitchen and bathroom.
In the town of Krasnokuts’k (Kharkiv region) there are 18 family-type orphanages, 5 adoptive and 4 fostering families. We were so pleased to help. And that the families found our aid so useful, that they recorded the “thank you” video.
Sunflower Scotland wants to extend this “thank you” message from the Ukrainian orphanages and fostering families to all Scottish and American donors, who donated money, and made this help possible.
At Sunflower, we do not take any commission or salary, all donations we receive are spend to help Ukraine.
