10 February 2025 – Sunflower Scotland delivers FERNO rescue equipment to “Antares”, a K9 Search and Rescue team at Pavlohrad (Павлоградський пошуково – рятувальний кінологічний загін “Антарєс.”)
Larisa Borysenko, her team at Antares and their amazing dogs rescue people from destroyed buildings. Antares is called to save people anywhere in Ukraine when the russians blow up people’s homes, and they are trapped under the rubble.
Here’s a few photos of their recent work, when a russian missile destroyed a house in Zaporizhzhia on 18th January. Dogs are doing a totally unbelievable work, finding people buried under the piles of bricks. Sometimes they find survivors, but unfortunately, most of the time only bodies…who need to be identified and properly buried.
That’s why you see the patch on the dog’s collar reading “200”. This is a painful number, because it is a codename for the diseased. Without these wonderful dogs, they would never be found.

Sunflower’s team including our chairman Oleg Dmitriev (Scotland), Stevie Blythe (Scotland) and Vitaly Hrygorov (Ukraine) delivered them personally in Pavlohrad, east of Dnipro.
Stevie found his new forever friend: Larson, a white Labrador at Antares. He is young and is only training to be a rescue dog, but he is in good hands and soon Larson will be saving people – or finding those who cannot be saved.
All dog owners of Scotland! Please help. Antares dogs are saving people every day. They need high-quality dog food.
