Evacuation of the wounded in the Zaporizhzia region

Film director Aaron MacCarley releases short film about our April trip

27 May 2026 – Aaron MacCarley, an award-winning American film director, releases a short 8-minute film about his trip with Sunflower Scotland in April 2026. It shows the day-to-day work of the charity in Ukraine. The main message of the film is that Sunflower Scotland’s work only starts when they cross the border with Ukraine.
Evacuation land drone and Vivaro van to Khartiya brigade

06 May 2026 – Sunflower Scotland donated land drone Targun-200 to Khartiya and a Vauxhall Vivaro van, for evacuation of the wounded. It takes six persons to drag one injured man. 03 May 2026 – Sunflower Scotland donated a Land Rover Freelander 2 SUV to a specialist technical team that maintains anti-drone defence perimeter Kherson. Russia is terrorising Kherson with hundreds of drones every day. They are destroying ambulances, buses, and simply people walking on the street. Protecting the city against drone attacks is top priority.
Armoured evacuation van destroyed in Kherson
