In June 2024, we delivered vehicles directly to frontline medics and soldiers in the Kharkiv region. That’s where the Russian enemy has focused its latest attack, and that’s where many lives are being lost. This is where Ukraine urgently needs help.
North Kharkiv front
The Volvo XC90 4×4 SUV was delivered to the 13th brigade, 1 battalion. They defend Kharkiv from the north, where the Russians started a new attack on this city full of innocent civilians: women and children. The line of contact stretches only 20 km north of the city. The fighting is very hard. The enemy has loads of munitions and supplies. Brave Ukrainian soldiers risk their health and lives more than before.
In addition, we provided a few gas masks to the 13th brigade, because the orcs started using chemical weapons.
We delivered the car at Tsyrkuny, north Kharkiv region. It’s about 12 km from the current battle zone in Lyptsy.
Kupyansk front
The Ford Transit van was provided to medics of the 43rd brigade.
We included a box of 60 tourniquets and Israeli bandages worth £1400. These are essential medical 1st aid supplies, to stop the critical bleeding on the front line, if someone is shot or wounded by shrapnel.
Boris, one the medics, explained that they are fully trained to use them. But the fighting is too intense, and there are too many casualties. In short, Ukrainian soldiers don’t have enough medical supplies for the current state of the war.
The Transit van was transferred to the medics in Shevchenkove, 25 km to the Kupyansk front.
Camo nets – protecting the vehicles
Our good partners, “Spiders for Ukraine and “Edinburgh Spiders” provided several camouflage nets, which will help to hide and protect vehicles.
Always deliver to the front line
Why do we risk our lives and deliver vehicles to the front line? Because real soldiers are too busy fighting and defending Ukraine. They do not have time to go to Poland or to Lviv to pick up vehicles.
We had to travel for about 3700 km to reach our destination. But it was totally worth it.
Full customs clearance
At Sunflower Scotland, we provide vehicles with full customs clearance as “humanitarian aid – not for resale”. This means that these cars cannot be later resold in Ukraine.
Genuine help at zero cost
As always, we provided vehicles for free to the medics and soldiers. We covered all the costs, including fuel and transportation. We are honest, and we genuinely help.
