Sunflower Scotland delivered medical aid to the Pershotravensk Central Town Hospital. We drove from Edinburgh, Scotland, and delivered items for rehabilitation, needles, syringes, laryngeal and tracheal tubes, dressings, adult nappies, and much more.
We thank NHS Lothian and Astley Ainslie Hospital for their generous donation. Our most sincere thanks to Prehospital Care and Aid Worldwide for providing first aid items, such as airways, OP tubes, pressure bandages, syringes and dressings.
Pershotravensk is a strategically important town 50 km to the Donbas front line. It is becoming more important every day, with the enemy attacking Pokrovsk. The Pershotravensk hospital receives a stream of ambulances from the front. They need all the help they can get.
We used this visit to establish direct contract with the hospital’s management. We discussed what they need.
The humanitarian crisis in the Donbas area is getting worse every day. We are planning our next mission to Pershotravensk in September, with more aid. Please support us.
