16 August 2026 – Sunflower Scotland delivered a Ford Connect van and a 4×4 Skoda Yeti SUV for Kraken. We donated both vehicles to the drone team in Zaporizhzhia. Russia is terrorising Zaporizhzhia with drones and gliding bombs, innovent people die every day. The boys of Kraken are doing everything they can, and risking their lives to protect the city from this horror. That’s why we know we need to support them.
Sunflower’s team loaded the Skoda SUV and the Ford van with medical supplies. Elvira drove the Skoda, and Stevie arrived in the Ford van.
Skoda had syringes, canulas, urine catheters and collection bags, as well as adult nappies. The Ford van carried 17 zimmer frames, as well as lots of small supplies.
First, we donated the medical supplies to the medics of the 253rd Assault Regiment “Arei” in Zaporizhzhia.
As for the walking frames, we sent them via Nova Poshta to Kherson for disabled people in the city. Our partner chairty Strong Because has a long list of disabled people in Kherson who need walking aids, and will distribute them.
After donating all the medical supplies, we gave the vehicles to Kraken. Both vehicles were donated absolutely for free: we never take a penny for our help.
Sunlfower’s team got to Dnipro in Oleg’s van. From there, we went back home to Scotland.
