On 11th December we delivered 126 food bags to Vovchansk. This small town was in occupation for almost 200 days. To this day, it’s cut off from supply lines because the russians destroyed all bridges and roads. The news report that the russians keep shelling Vovchansk every day. Only the poorest and the most vulnerable remain.
On 17th December we delivered 150 food bags to Chuhunivka. It’s a small village in the north-eastern corner of Kharkiv Oblast’. They were in Russian occupation for 198 days. Now, the village is free. But the russians shell it every day. ZSU reported that on 17th December it was shelled. Because of this, people hide and it’s dangerous for them to drive to get food. That’s why volunteers’ help is so crucial.
Each of our food bags contains about 8 kg food and essential supplies: 2.4kg pasta, plain flour, 1.8kg barley, etc. We buy only Ukrainian food, in Ukraine. This way we support local businesses. Cordial thanks to our donors.
