COLLECTION FOR UKRAINE: HELP MEDICS TO SAVE LIVES

Sunflower Scotland brings medical supplies directly to doctors. Here is what is currently required.

1. Clothing for wounded soldiers (see below)

2. Medical items for town hospitals and field hospitals (see below)

3. Vehicles: vans and 4×4 SUVs

We greatly appreciate cash donations because we need money to get there and back.

AID SETS FOR WOUNDED SOLDIERS IN FIELD HOSPITALS

We prepare individual bags for each wounded soldier and bring them directly to hospitals.

Medics do not have time to sort or wash clothing. We sort everything by size and prepare bags in advance. Everyone gets the same set. Here’s what we need for each set:

• Men’s T-shirts x 2 (sizes M, L , XL, XXL)
• Jogging bottoms x 1 (sizes M, L , XL, XXL)
• Toothbrush, toothpaste
• Jumper x 1 (sizes M, L , XL, XXL)
• Socks
• Men’s underwear

Please do not donate items with buttons (no jeans, no shirts, no chinos, no suits). They have injured or missing fingers or limbs: cannot button shirts or jeans.

Please do not donate children’s and women’s clothes.

MEDICAL SUPPLIES FOR HOSPITALS AND MEDEVAC

We deliver directly to 11 city hospitals and to 3 field hospitals at the front line. Please donate medical items which are in-date. Out of date items are forbidden in Ukraine.

• Portable Ultrasound Machines (e.g. Butterfly)
• Lung ventilators
• Defibrillators
• Portable ECG machines
• Portable Vital Patient Monitors
• Ecoflow batteries
• Diesel or Petrol Inverter Generators

MOBILITY

• Crutches
• Walking frames
• Wheelchairs (self-propelled with “big wheels”)

VEHICLES

Vehicles save lives. Both ambulances, vans and 4×4 cars play their role.

We donate ambulances, and their main role is evacuation from the field hospital to the nearest town/city hospital.

Vans and 4×4 SUVs are absolutely critical for evacuation from the fields, where road ambulances don’t go. We use these vehicles to bring medical supplies to frontline areas. After unloading we donate them to Ukraine.
